I have been diagnosed with ADHD and had my ADHD medication Titration and prescription all done through Psychiatry UK, and I can say my prescriber (Charlotte Lockyer) has been insanely helpful, and kept me involved in every step of the process. She was extremely accommodating for when I needed to take breaks or needed advice based on the side effects I was experiencing. I have also been kept well informed about the changes in medication, reasoning for titration process, and all potential side effects for the medication I tried. I honestly couldn't thank her enough, and I cannot express how smoothly the process truly went with her help !

Ben was highly courteous and professional throughout the duration of my call. I had never received psychiatric assistance before however he was very calm and explained meticulously the process, as well as helping me understand my own psyche, as well as reasons behind my behaviour. He explained why treatment may help and the various options available to me, and how I may go about obtaining these.

Dr Edward Bryan made me feel uncomfortable in the way that he joked and had a sarcastic tone throughout. I didn’t feel properly listened to and my experiences were minimised. He was passive aggressive and I felt confused and anxious throughout.

My first psychiatrist wasn't great and I felt kinda dismissed by him, but my new one is amazing. Treats me with respect and is very kind.

I was very sceptical about online psychiatrical service like the Pyschiatirc-UK initially, but their price and webpage are too persuasive, and I cannot refuse. And I find it to be very good. The website and appointment system are pretty simple to navigate and everything could be communicated between staffs, doctors and patients via a speedy notes system. Well, there is some hiccups and echoes when using the Microsoft Team for the online session, but they are very new to that, and hence, it would be fine in the future. The staff members are very friendly, and never rush you even you have very complex issues with GP. Price-wise, I think it is worthy to be one's first place for psychiatrical help, if he or she or they is/are very busy, outside London, or in a poor state of finance.

You're run of the mill private entity that only cares about money.
My biggest qualm is that you have to wait 4 to 6 weeks for information and documentation, you should receive within a day or so.
Get your referral to a local NHS service and let these vampires starve.

The patient portal was easy to use, and the support staff were quick to respond to any notes. I really enjoyed using it actually, and felt in control of my appointments and interactions.

I recommend Psych UK for assessments and diagnoses of ADHD and autism. The process has been smooth, for the most part, and the prescribing nurse I have been dealing with has been excellent, although there have been a few communication issues regarding my medication.
I do not, however, recommend the consultant I had to deal with, Dr Aaron Lovelle.
During my titration review, the consultant was brusque, unsympathetic, and did not appear to believe me when I told him my medication was no longer working. He asked me why I had been put on non-stimulants (I explained there had been a mix up with my medical record and it was documented that I had a heart condition, which I do not, hence the medication) and then told me I should have been more pro-active in sorting that mix-up out, when in reality none of it was my fault. I cried during the appointment and he was totally unsympathetic and unhelpful. I had to instead go to my prescribing nurse who has since prescribed Elvanse after talking with the consultant.
I would rather not deal with this consultant again, who does not appear to understand how difficult and stressful meetings like this can be for ADHD and autistic people, and who blamed me for my medication not working.

Dr Major was very understanding of my circumstances and conducted an assessment to clarify future treatment recommendations in regard to my mental health.
He was patient, empathetic and explained everything with care and great detail, answering any questions I had.
Would recommend- 10/10

Brilliant service the whole way through. I always felt listened too. Any questions or concerns were responded to quickly and efficiently. I felt as though the right treatment was looked into I wasn’t forced to just take the first option and I was able to move through doses at a comfortable pace. After 43 years I finally feel I am understanding myself and able to function properly.
